Q: When does the convention start and finish?
A: The Convention starts at 9am on Friday August 7th, and closes at noon on Sunday 9th. There will be an optional group trip to DC on Sunday evening (with an additional cost). Details will be announced in the next few weeks.....
Q: Does the registration include our meals?
A: Yes, your registration includes both lunch and dinner on Saturday, while your hotel reservation includes breakfast for two each morning. In addition, we will have a hospitality room available throughout the convention for snacks and cold drinks. For dinner on Friday, and lunch on Sunday, there is the hotel restaurant plus 5 other restaurants within walking distance. In addition, the Reston Town Center is 1-mile away (walk or drive), and has 30+ shops & restaurants

Q: We are not clear about our summer schedule yet. What's the cancellation policy?
A: We understand life is unpredictable and plans change.
Registration cancellations prior to 7/27/2020, are 100% refundable if you paid by check. If you paid online using Paypal, and cancel prior to 7/27/2020, we will directly refund your registration less a deduction of the Paypal service charge, which is $6.00 - $12.00 depending on which country you registered from, and the time of your registration.
Due to the requirement to pre-pay the hotel venue for lunch & dinner, cancellation between 7/28/2020 and 8/5/2020 (via check or Paypal) will receive a 50% refund (minus original PayPal transaction fee if applicable). Cancellations after 8/6/2020 (Convention weekend) are not refundable.
Q: Which airport is the closest? Do I need to rent a car?
A: Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 6-miles from the Sheraton, and is the DC area's main airport. Washington National Airport (DCA) is the next nearest airport, 22-miles away. Note that DCA does not have international customs clearance. Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is DC's 3rd airport, 53-miles from the Sheraton.
Car rentals can be picked up from any of these airports, and car-parking at the Sheraton is free. Alternatively, a taxi/Uber from Dulles airport will run $15-20 and take 10-15 minutes. A taxi/Uber from National Airport will take 30-60 minutes depending on traffic, and usually costs $45-70. BWI can take 1-2 hours depending on traffic, and will likely cost $70-100 in a taxi/Uber.
Q: Where are the future RCA International Convention?
A: The 2021 Convention "Love Blooms in the Desert" will be in Tuscon, Arizona, USA
The 2022 Convention is planned to be in Edmonton, Canada
